I got little Eric's school Spring pictures back the other day and this is what they looked like. He is my Mr GQ. I think they are so cute.

I Can't Believe It Has Been 6 Years Since....
my little man went from this....
to this big boy
We aren't going to celebrate his birthday with his party for friends until Eric gets home but I wanted to do something fun for his birthday. We were getting a necklace that he had seen at a kiosk that friends of ours own. It is a shark carved out of bone. They have a kiosk at the Dole Plantation so we went and got the gift, then rode the train and topped it off with Pineapple Whip (since I am a bad mom and didn't make a cake). Tonight he wanted Panda Express and then we are going to call it a day.

Christmas Day 2009
So I know that it is very much past Christmas and I am just posting these pictures. And going through my pictures I noticed that we didn't take too many pictures. We took more video than anything. Anyways - Christmas was good. It was a little sad not being close to family but we had a good day with friends!

Missing the cold
A bunch of us Hawaii folks were missing the cold this winter. So we decided since we couldn't build a snowman we would do the next best thing - build a sandman. The kids all had a blast and thought it was a great time. We thought it turned out pretty good!

Only in Hawaii
Oh Christmas Day we decided to head up to the North Shore because there were supposed to be huge waves. It was kind of a dreary day and had been sprinkling on and off all day. After about the 2nd time it started sprinkling, the people in front of us did this
Instead of just putting up the top on the convertible, they pulled out their beach umbrella (yes I said beach umbrella) and rode down the rode like this. I couldn't believe it!

He is crazy!
This past Christmas, little Eric was so interested in my village that I set up on top of my piano. He always was standing on the piano bench rearranging the people. One day I happened to look up at the village and noticed that he had added some people of his own - his Lego men. It made me chuckle every time I looked at it. I must say that we left them there the whole time. :)

Too cute not to share
Little Eric talked me into buying him some bubble bath. This is him in his first bubble bath and thought it was too cute. I love this kid!!
