Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain

Our Favorite Hawaii Pasttime

One of our favorite things to do in Hawaii was to take our fire pit up to Haleiwa to the beach in the late afternoon, play, cook hotdogs, watch the sunset and then make s'mores and just hang out. Right before we moved we were going almost every weekend. Usually we would go with out friend's the Snyder's (boy do we miss them!!) I'm glad that we have these memories that we have made with great friends. I'm posting pictures from probably one of the last times we went.

Halloween 2011

This year (well really last year; just pretend it is 2011) for Halloween Eric decided he wanted to be Captain America. WE actually found a pretty nice costume at Target that wasn't too expensive. Whatever he decides to be he is still pretty cute though.
We went Trick or Treating with our friends the Baker's. Eric and Logan had been in the same class in Kindergarten and even though they went to seperate schools after that they still stayed pretty good friends. Of course they had a great time and came home with quite a loot of candy. It is sad that there are going to be no more warm Halloween's for us! Here are a few pictures from that night.

Fall 2011 Sports

Just like the previous fall we were super busy with sports. We played soccer in town and played flag football on post. Unfortunately for us the sports overlapped for about a month. So we had practice 3 days a week and 2 games on Saturday. It kept us super busy but little Eric loved it so that is what matters. Big Eric helped coach both teams. I love to see my hubby out there helping teach these kids sports and I love to be able to see my boys out there together. I'm going to post a few pictures from both teams.

Trying to Catch Up!

Now I know I am about a year and a half behind in my blogging but I really am trying to catch up. Now most people would just say forget about the last year and a half and start now but my goal is to print each year out as a book. I don't keep a journal so my blog is a way to record the happenings of our life. So just bear with me as I catch up on post from last year. :)
