Rrrrrrr Matey!!

This year for little Eric's birthday we had a pirate theme. I made eye patches for all the kids, bought bandanas for them, and had them decorate spy glasses. We split into 2 teams and had a treasure hunt. It was a blast and the kids had alot of fun. What made it even better was Grandma Sanders came down and made a cake to look like a Pirate Ship. I think it turned out great and even had a few parents comment later on that the party went well. (I stole the whole idea from my sister who did this kind of party for her son a couple years ago.) Thought I would post a few pictures from the party.

That looks fun. Ryan had a pirate party for his 6th bday and we did a treasure hunt too. Our cake wasn't nearly as fabulous as yours!
