He's already planning!

Yesterday little Eric came out of his room during quiet time and told us that next time Daddy comes home we are going to Six Flags. Where he learned about Six Flags I have no clue but I'm so glad that he is now making the travel plans.
We have had a great time with Big Eric being home. One more full day then he leaves on Thursday. We have hung out, played lots, and even managed to get down to Florida to go to Sea World. The day after we went to Sea World we were talking about where we might move next when Eric gets back. Eric asked little Eric where he wanted to move to next and little Eric told us that he wanted to move to Sea World. I guess we could try to sell him. :)

Some other funny sayings from the past week and a half -
Little Eric told me that I was crazy because i never stop talking. I hate to inform him that I don't talk that much! Okay I guess that is the only funny one I can remember but here are some heart wrenching sayings -
We are going to the beach next month with my family and little Eric asked me when we were going. I told him that it was still going to be a couple of weeks. He asked if Daddy was going to be coming and I told him no that he was going to be back in Afghanistan. He told me that he was going to miss Daddy when we were at the beach.
Tonight as were were driving home little Eric said "Daddy, it makes me sad when you leave." Talk about stick a knife in your heart.

We have had a great visit though; and even though it is going to be so hard to say good-bye again I'm so glad that he was able to come home. Only 6 more months to go!
